To those who wish to see evidence of our sojourn to the mill ruins:

The Divine Mud Stain Angel informs me that you'll just have to wait a bit.
there are no clean saucepans.

my options are:
do the dishes
go to Christian's (pizza) or Taco Bell
not eat

I'm most likely to pick the third choice. I'm super achy and don't feel like standing up long enough to do the dishes, besides, boy fried sausage, so there's a huge stinky pan in there just waiting to make me wretch. The pan is his responsibility. The rest of the dishes are a shared responsibility, but I'll probably end up doing them simply because I can wash them far more quickly than boy can and he has this amazing ability to sleep *well* when there are dishes to be done. Me? I sleep crappily, though last night I was just *too tired* to handle them.

I could go out to eat, but that would involve putting on clothing, driving/walking, etc. i was kinda wanting to hang out around the house and rest today.

choices choices...

it's so much easier to just *not* eat, but it's not a very healthy choice.
So, last Thursday, we went down to the ruins of an old textile mill on the Rivanna. [livejournal.com profile] xiane and [livejournal.com profile] nothingoth brought real cameras, I had my point and click, [livejournal.com profile] briskpepper brought his sense of humor. ;)

Yesterday, we decided to hike the St. Mary's River trail to the waterfall. We've never hiked this trail, which turned out to be a problem. This trail is not blazed. It's in a wilderness area, too, which means there is no upkeep. It's also basically a trail through a ravine.

We had a hurricane recently. Lots of water was dumped on the Blue Ridge with nowhere to go but down.

Oy.
