so...

finally saw Pirates with [livejournal.com profile] red_frog and her sister.

yeah.

mmmm, pirates.

happy times.

afterwards, i wandered on the DT Mall til I found the flyering crew. i proceeded to just say "eyeliner" to boy for the next few minutes.

we finished flyering, then said goodbye. boy was thinking of going to do band stuff with patrick and chad, but he realized that it was almost 11pm, so he turned around and came home, where i pillaged him.

mmm, pirates.
So... today's an achy day. I've been overdoing it a lot lately.

Every day is achy, actually... today is just on the worse side of my base level of "in pain to the point of distraction"... right now i'm in pain a bit worse than that. I don't think I'll get to Joann's to buy the fabric I need, but it can wait another day. I can't sew like this, anyhow.

This damn dyshidrotic eczema on my hands is driving me nuts. If I don't use the kenalog ointment every single night, it pops back up. I don't want to use steroids forever, dammit. My doctor told me to keep using it if that prevents the stuff from recurring. *sigh*

I need to do dishes. This will make the eczema worse. I can't find a single pair of heavier vinyl gloves in a *small* anywhere in this damn town. It's hard enough to find the Med/Large sizes. Those fall off my hands and make it hard for me to handle dishes. I can't even find surgical vinyl or nitrile gloves in small sizes locally.

I need to clean out the fridge. I'd rather do this *after* the dishes are done, since this will generate more dishes, but if I wait, the fridge won't get cleaned out.

I have loads of tomatoes I need to pick. I'm hesitant to do so because of the mosquitoes. My neighbors are probably going to think I'm nuts if I go out there in a black butt-length veil, but I might do it anyhow. Who wants yellow grape tomatoes? [livejournal.com profile] xiane? [livejournal.com profile] red_frog? Anyone else? [livejournal.com profile] mbickers? [livejournal.com profile] nothingoth? Anyone? [livejournal.com profile] solieri, do you and your mom like tomatoes?

Today is the farmer's market. Who wants to go to Scottsville with us?
Okay... about 1/3 of the dishes are done. The dish rack is full. When they are dry and put away, I'll wash some more.

The dishes hadn't been done most of this week because I've not been home for dinner -or- I've been eating leftovers. Without the need to *use* dishes, dishes don't get done. I wash dishes much more quickly than boy does, for some reason. I can wash three to four sinks' worth of dishes in 15 minutes if I have boy on hand to dry and put things away.

I wonder how many of my friends harbor a secret love for various types of world music.

I finished the second third of dishes awhile ago. I just have silverware left to do, along with one stockpot that I'll do when boy is available to dry it immediately (it's too big for the dishrack).

Boy will be responsible for the containers of ancient leftovers I removed from the fridge, along with cleaning off the stove and washing the dish that held his fish for dinner last night.

See, I do the *bulk*, he does the disgusting. (okay guys, that was *not* a groupie joke)

I put my eyedrops in a couple hours ago... I should probably put my contacts in before I forget.

I want pizza again. I've treated myself too often this week. Granted, Christian's Pizza is far healthier than *most* pizza, but I need other foods, too.
