two of today's calls were mbickers, who just likes to drive me insane. ;)

anyhow, she'll have to compete with HSV-1. I seem to be getting at least one--possibly two or three cold sores. They're just at the tingly stage and I'm flooding my system with L-lysine, but that might not be enough. I might have to ring the doc and request Valtrex because I *hatehatehate* cold sores.

And being achy is getting really old. Fibro can sod off, I have other things to do.

I haven't showered since Sunday night.

On Monday, I did some grocery shopping, some laundry, and a lot of resting. Yesterday, I warmed the couch. Today is shaping up the same way. I'm going to make something comforting for dinner. Something with vegetables and noodles and mayonnaise and a creamy sauce baked in the oven. Yes, fattening. I don't care. I need it. After I get that in the oven, I'm going to take a shower, I think.

I should go to Whole Foods and pick up some ginger for boy. That might help his distended belly a bit.

My parents are going to the Pace reunion in Mississippi this weekend. I'm jealous. I want to go. I want to see my relatives. I want to play in the springs in the park where the reunion is held. Boy has shown very little interest in ever going and we usually save up his vacation days for the beach with his parents. I don't really want to give up the beach. We're also taking a couple days (adding them to a weekend) to go to the fair back home (Mooreland, IN) this year, so we really can't manage Mississippi.

I think we're going to skip the annual Fourth of July party in Philly this year. I'll miss seeing everyone, but we're going to be travelling a week and a half later. Lots of travellings wears us both out these days. Maybe we'll have a grill party here. Grilling toga party. Yes. That's the ticket. Miles of voluminous swaths of cloth will confuse the mosquitoes. Indeed.

I'm out of egg noodles. This dish must have noodles. So I'm going to go buy some, along with ginger for boy.

I have homemade-style egg noodles, flavored egg noodles... and if I didn't have those, I could make 'em. BUT... I want the slippery kind of egg noodles. And those must be gotten at the store.

I would call mbickers to see if she'd like to go, but her phone had a "wireless customer not available" message. I'll stop by the house, just in case. I know she needs Cafe du Monde coffee and whole foods has it.
