okay...

i'm awake... barely.

let's see. i need to make spinach dip, hope Fil can wrangle up a sourdough round, and possibly make zucchini bread. it's an easy recipe, but i'm really tired and fairly fatigued. this trip is going to take awhile to recover from.

okay, i think i'll make it. it's just such a yummy bread.

zucchini bread is in the oven. i'll rest for a bit and then start thawing the spinach for the spinach dip.

i hope i don't end up with an explosive butt from eating the batter this time. sometimes i'm very susceptible to salmonella, other times i can eat raw eggs with no regrets. either way, it will pass quickly.

"OHMIGOD. SOOO GOOD." heard as someone steals the swiss cheese i've so carefully cut up and dips it in my honey mustard.

in other news, the zucchini bread is probably done. and i have a bowl of swiss cheese strips with boar's head honey mustard.

life is good.

in a couple hours, we'll head off to DC.

i should be packing a bag and the cooler, but i'm not. and i need a shower. and stuff.

i'm almost dressed. i've got my hideous rainbow skirt, tights, and shoes on. i'm trying to decide what blouse/sweater to wear.

still need to pack a change of clothes for tomorrow. got sheets and blankets packed. need to put stuff in the cooler.

oh, and i should probably comb out my wet hair.
