One of my favorite bands, Garmarna, is coming to this area. While I'm going to see them at the Floyd World Music Festival this friday, I couldn't pass up a chance to see them for free on Wednesday.

They're playing at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage. 6pm. free.

I'll be there with my friend Jeff. I need to hit the MVA in Gaithersburg to turn in my plates, anyhow.

okay. washed a bunch of dishes. too tired to dry 'em, though, so i can't do the rest.

put the pasta bake dish into the fridge after re-arranging a few things.

hung up the laundry i re-washed earlier today (crinolines, etc, from sat night). ripped out stitches in back of pillow cover, pulled out pillow, tossed cover in wash (is quilted cover from great-grandma). looked in machine and added the get fuzzy tshirt i had sitting with detergent on the tomato spot from earlier.

put away tshirts hanging in laundry room, put away clean tights and fishnets, put skirts hanging in the laundry room in the bedroom, to take upstairs tomorrow... grabbed two afghans to throw in wash so boy and i have nighttime blankies again.

still need to clean blender (ground up hazelnuts earlier). need to remember to buy eggs tomorrow so i can make hazelnut cookies.\

and all this since 3:30am. i'm dead tired, but know that i won't be able to sleep unless i do a bunch of stuff to settle my mind. doing this stuff helps.

should go to bed soon so i can wake up at 1pm. boy has a 2pm acupuncture appt. i can pick up some more dish soap and laundry detergent and eggs while i'm in town. maybe i'll have time to pick up my extendryl prescription, too.

dammit. with something called chronic fatigue immune dysfunction syndrome, i SHOULD be able to sleep on a whim, but no. freakin' insomnia. plague of the PWC. *sigh*

*eyeing the non-breakable dishes in dish rack*
