i had a nice day. i went downtown with a friend. we met at the sackler gallery, wandered for a bit, then decided to seek out food. we ended up at pizzeria paradiso, where we shared a pizza (yum). then we went to see Vampire Hunter D... which was pretty cool.
i had fun, but i'm worn out. i came home and sat down... cleaned the dining area, put up some lights, put the tree and the headless horsemen on the table (surrounded by spiderweb snow with GitD spiders, two turkey saltshakers, and two rooster saltshakers. the tree has mardi gras beads on it. i'll add harpies and some lights tomorrow.
there are two loaves of zucchini bread-to-be in the oven. boy signed up for taking a loaf for his office party. i feel like a PTA mom. "you said you'd bring what? when. okay..." i don't mind. he did tell me a week ago. ;)
and zucchini bread is insanely easy to make. i have my great-grandma's recipe. who knows where she got it, but it's incredibly good.
now i'm eating pizza bread... and drinking my second coke of the evening. i try not to drink this stuff, especially when i'm on my period, but i'm craving them... and i was too tired to lift the water pitcher or brew some tea.
mmmm
i really want to go to walmart and get some household items, but it's raining... i don't mind driving in the rain, but maryland has a horrid time putting lines on roads that show up on rainy nights. i don't like veering out of my lane, nor do i enjoy dodging other drivers.
