rootofnewtMagi came over for dinner tonight. Boy helped me prepared dinner, so most of it was ready by the time she arrived: swiss chard and dino kale sauteed with currants, almonds, onion, and garlic; lentil soup; garlic semolina bread. i bought the bread at laurel's early light cafe in scottsville. didn't know it was garlic, but it's really YUMMY.
we played munchkin... a cardgame RPG parody type thing. it was fun. :) then we had peach-blackberry pie. yum.
it was good to do something different. and magi didn't even get lost driving out here (i didn't think she would, but i've been known to give misdirections).
eating a cup of soup now. mmm, bread.
