Aug. 11th, 2002 08:13 pmit's hard to type while one's right forefinger is bound in several layers of gauze and one's other fingers are applying pressure.
i wonder how long is it safe to bleed? already soaked through a white towel, a bandaid, and eight (quad-fold pad wrapped around) layers of gauze. i'm pretty sure i'm not cut to the bone.
la la la. and i didn't finish installing the damn antenna. grrr. i need a drill and some metal bits. yes indeedy. stupid jagged steel biting my finger didn't slow me down, but lack of a drill did.
oh, and we hiked up to humpback rocks today. woohoo! one mile and 800 vertical feet.
that felt good. when it didn't hurt and dizzify.

Date: 2002-08-11 10:42 pm (UTC)Humpback is no joke of a hike! I used to do it all the time before my allergies made it more of a torture than a thrill. Damn gorgeous views and how cool is it to sit up on the rocks? Wow. I last went up a few New Years' ago, and we flew kites. It was awesome.
