Sep. 30th, 2001 04:18 pmwent pumpkin hunting today with aspy and his little weasel. the little weasel picked up lots of pumpkins, so we told her she could only have as many as she could carry.
i must say--that kid can carry a LOT.
we picked apples, too.
and now i'm off to make apple dumplings, though i might fall asleep first.

btw, if you don't cut the apples all the way through (just pocket the core out), they hold the butter and sugar a little better. you can even put a little water in to help them cook a little more quickly.
