i was stretched out on my belly, laptop on a rack on the floor in front of me. boy sitting at the other end of the futon watching david copperfield, my feet in his lap...

when all of a sudden...

OW.

stabbing pain right in the rear of my rib cage...

what's a girl to do?

so i slowly twist myself into an upright fetal position... try to breathe... manage to take off my bra. and the low-level headache i've had all day manages to sear into the front of my head at the same time.

so i ask boy to fetch the naproxen--make that two--a glass of koolaid or water, and the psysheep tshirt, which is on the kitchen table where i left it while cooking the other day (didn't want to get flour/oil on it).

he's such a good boy.

and the naproxen managed to quell the low-level menstrual cramps i hadn't yet acknowleged.

scar tissue sucks.

it's so bloody unpredictable.

man, whats the deal, this is like the ninth journal I've read where we females are all doing the menses thing....guess it's the full moon or something.
Have been out of LJ land a lot lately, real world has been very very bad, but I'm trying to recenter myself today. Glad to see you are doing relatively okay, often wonder how you and boy are doing, how the move went, etc. If you aren't allergic to cocoa butter or comfrey, someone I know used melt cocoa butter and simmer it a bit with comfrey, let it resolidify, and then she would rub it into some really bad scar tissue she had and it even helped to break up the fibroids and the collagen knots in the scar...she would massage it for about 10 minutes every day. Just an idea.
