okay... i suppose i could explain some of my rare-r interests.

or i could just let y'all roll your eyes as you glance over my interests and move on.

one other person lists aelita. i should probably pay more attention to his LJ, since his bio, interests, and user pic all catch my eye. aelita, for those who don't know, is the queen of mars.

one other person lists CFS-20s, and i know her. i also know that several list members use LJ. that's okay, they all know where to find me, if needs be.

one person lists cow puppies, but i know they are near and dear to a few more hearts.

i was disturbed at the number of folks (five communities and 139 individuals) who list defenestration... then i realized that it's the name of a UK band. that's a little less disturbing.

nobody else lists dingos ate my baby. this kind of surprises me, given the fanaticism of buffy fans.

nobody lists duck-mole, ornithorhynchus anatinus, or tambreet--all of which are words for platypus. nobody lists platypussary, either, which is basically a platypus hutch. ;)

Genrikh Sapgir is one of my favorite russian absurdist poet/writers. he's awesome. and nobody else lists him.

someone else actually lists silos.

Spruce Knob is the highest point in west virginia. it's a favorite spot for serious skygazing, messier marathons, and astro-photographers on the east coast.

explodingcat and i list vampire squid from hell and vampyroteuthis infernalis. we have our reasons for listing this noble critter. his are far more nefarious than mine.
