Hallowed bathtime

Whiskey starts his heartworm treatment tomorrow. We forgot to bathe him earlier, but it's not chilly, so Tom decided to give him a quick bath tonight.

Whiskey now associates the bathroom with freeze-dried chicken liver treats. Anytime we go near the bathroom, Whiskey runs in and waits patiently by the tub.

He spent most of Tom's shower standing outside the door, just waiting for the magical treats to appear.

There is just something wrong with Whiskey looking forward to bath time when I have a 32 pound Scottie who can't walk but fights like a banshee at bath time. He's up, he's down, he snorts, he jumps, he scratches.. . but at least he doesn't bite. I have to wear my swimsuit.

I can't wait to meet Whiskey.
