rootofnewtwell, the company was my own most of the evening. i saw a matinee today (jay and silent bob) with boy and Kenn. Then kenn drove us to Fresh Fields, where I stocked up on food.
Back at our place, I fixed dinner (braised kale with onions, garlic, and pepper. corn on the cob. hummus with toasted pita) and then let the guys clean up. I was exhausted and I'd earned a rest. They cleared the table and played a game of Wheel of Time (CCG--i married a gamer, though he normally behaves).
I stayed on the couch, enjoying a few glasses of wine and some good music (Projekt Sampler, Mistle Thrush, Miranda Sex Garden). Now boy is sitting with me and sorting his new cards. "Naked Chef" is on and boy is eagerly awaiting his favorite tv show--"Iron Chef".
He's really cute. He loves this show. :)
And he's in a good mood because I arranged tonight's play date for him. ;) I'm good at that.
