Happy Birthday, Ronan!

We had a small playgroup today. Ronan spent most of it outside with Sally and her mom, Sara. He sees them almost every day and was a bit overwhelmed when the other kids showed up (just three more, not a huge group), so the two of them enjoyed playing basketball and digging in my planters while the others enjoyed sugary confections.

I made blueberry babycakes and gingerbread muffins with lemon buttercream frosting. Yum.

i can't believe how much he's growing up! it goes so fast! My great nephew turned 4 this march and he'll start school in the fall.. now i feel really old lol.. (and I say this as I'm another year closer to 50! eek.. ha ha) *hugs*
