rootofnewtWe visited Ikea today to do some Yaksmas shopping. We also visited Gloria Dei National Historic Site (Old Swedes').
I'll probably upload pictures later.
After visiting the church and getting our parks passport stamped, we decided to go visit Independence Square, where we saw the Liberty Bell and various old buildings, including the first Congressional building. The tickets were gone for Independence Hall itself, but we've seen that before, along with Franklin Court. We also obtained a few more parks passport stamps.
Ronan fell asleep after leaving Old Swedes', so I carefully dressed him in a coat and put him in the Ergo so we could walk around the historical area. We found great street parking near Jewelers' Row and Washington Square, which was a plus. He did wake up when I neglected to push his hood back while we were in one building (he wakes if he gets overheated). Oops.

I just ordered new shoes. My montrails (hurricane ridge XCR) are shot, so I ordered a new pair. Maybe my feet will thank me next week.
Tomorrow, I bake desserts. Yum.
