rootofnewtSo. Leaving for NJ in a few hours. Still need to go withdraw cash for tolls.
Most of the laundry is done, but not quite. I need to wash and dry diapers to take with. Tom overstuffed the load of towels, so they're taking close to three hours to dry. Ugh. I would have just put the really wet ones in the washer and then hung the rest to dry and wash when we return. Oh, well. My fault--I didn't give explicit instructions.
I'm trying to keep Ronan awake. He's already somewhat cranky and would probably happily nap, but if he does that, I'll have to entertain him in his carseat for five hours. I don't think so. Fortunately, his friend Sallie will awaken from her nap soon and then she'll bring her mother over for a visit. They can help keep Ronan awake. :)
I'm going to shove some chicken wings in the oven (needed to cook them before they went bad). In a couple hours, I'll go pick up curry for dinner.
Still need to pack laptops, Tom's work machine (goes in the bedlinens/towels basket), and the diapers. Also need the shower backpack, Ronan's rocket, and any produce that needs eating while we're gone.
*sigh*
Busy stuff.
On the other hand, we'll be up there for ten days. Maybe I can convince Tom that we need both Sazon *and* Jules Thin Crust. Maybe, maybe.
Better go make sure I have my Phila Zoo membership card in my wallet.
