Today was a walking day . . . home to the Corner, downtown, North(west) Downtown, back through Downtown to the Corner, to the Lawn, and then partway home to a bus stop. We walked 5.7 miles. Had I not bussed home, it would have been 7. And I regret taking the bus. I always forget that the late afternoon/evening shift driver is a MADMAN. Seriously. Ronan was still on my back, so I had to hold on with all my might to avoid sliding, falling, or crushing the baby. That was more tiring than walking up the two ridgelines between my house and West Main.

We had playgroup and then we met up with

dj_radioactive for a little while, which was awesome.

ez_mo and the kidlets joined us and provided more camaraderie. Eventually we all parted ways and headed off into our respective sunsets.

It was a nice day. :) Ronan is sorely lacking in naptime, however, so I will likely walk even more this evening in an attempt to keep him awake later.
