ronan visits santa

Well, Ronan has already developed stranger anxiety. He's best first thing in the morning, so we went to the Mall yesterday to see Santa (we were still in NJ). He was rather dubious about the whole thing and kept looking up at Santa and fussing. I didn't let him get really upset. He was just confused. I was thrilled with this stoic picture. It's much better than the grimaces the salesladies were trying to steer me toward. Hello! I'm not that kinda mom! I don't think crying pics are funny!

In retrospect, I should've thrown him in the air a few times before handing him to Santa. He'd have still been grinning then.

I see my grandson extraordinaire is doing his best to give his "pouty" face to Mom for leaving him in some stranger's lap. This is just too cute. . . I rank this right up there with the screaming in the car seat. LOL. I printed off the picture for Gr. Grandma and Grandpa. They love it. I went back in later and Dad was just sitting staring at it. I am so glad they got to see him this summer.
