He's sleeping--finally!

I trimmed a few inches (2-3") off my hair. I'm sure it's uneven, but it just had to go. I couldn't get a comb through it easily, which is crazy with my hair. When I do water aerobics, I can't wear a cap without overheating. Overheating is bad, so I go cap-less. And the pool just kills my hair. :( It really rats it up.

I mixed up some henna this morning. The dye has released, so I can go glop it on my head soon. That was another reason for trimming the ends--I've put henna on split ends before and it's almost impossible for me to comb it afterward. At least now I'll be cursing less in a few hours.

I replaced a light switch today. Go, me! Now I'll be able to fold laundry and pack our suitcases in the bedroom, which is much easier than having the suitcases in the living room.

I need to make hummus and start packing, but those are relatively noisy endeavors. I'll wait til the urchin has slept a bit longer.

Tom's planning on going to the Melt Banana show tonight. I hope he has fun!
