Baby's sleeping, parents are working.

Well, I am mostly vegetating. My sleep was all kinds of screwy, so I'm exhausted. Don't feel like napping, though, so I'll just keep surfing and puttering until I can convince boy to go for a walk in search of caffeination. Maybe we can walk over to The Corner, though that might be exceedingly stupid today (UVA commencement).
Went out to do some gardening. Came back in, hoping to have avoided getting too many mosquito bites. Hopes were dashed, medicine cabinet was visited. I know chlorpheniramine is okay to take while breastfeeding, but dammit . . . it annoys me that my body reacts so severely to everything. I hope I only got a few bites (hives make it hard to tell), because medrol isn't an option.
I've seeded the stump area (with mostly native wildflowers), need to rake woodchips over it and water it, but I can't do that right now. I might ask boy to hook up the hose out front, though, so that I can give my garden a good soaking. It's had recent good soakings, but I have a number of young herbs out there and they tend to get thirsty.
Ronan spent last evening and night spitting up, barfing, and peeing all over. I decreed this morning "First Bath Day". He's had rag/sponge baths thus far. So boy scrubbed the tub and I filled it. I climbed in and was handed the urchin. Pictures were taken. Ronan wasn't sure what to think and fussed a tiny bit. I held him close and started splashing water on his bum before gently immersing parts of his body. He decided it was pretty much okay and relaxed completely, letting me wash all of his various creases and folds (he's getting more of those every day--working on his third chin, too). He smells much better now.
I'm impressed with how well I've kept up with laundry. I've never done so well, to be quite honest. I think it's because once I hand the urchin off to boy, I start scrambling for stuff to do and laundry is always easy. ;)
I've unpacked one of the bins of my pre-preg clothing. I found a couple pairs of pants I'd forgotten I had. They were too small last summer, but fit just fine now. I'd still rather have jeans, but these will tide me over until I can find some that meet my exacting demands.

As for laundry, I keep up so much better now that S. is here. I think it just happens out of necessity.
