so this article about building monuments to warn future archaeologists away from nuclear waste caught my interest.
i'd really like to listen in on the theories the designers have. frankly, it seems like simple illustrations of the radioactive compounds' molecular structures would serve a much more obvious means of warning.Ë

Date: 2002-06-10 07:32 am (UTC)The article the author sites for his sarcastic tirade is shorter than his own. He states more information than the Arcaeology Magazine has, but I couldn't find further references.
In any case, there are safer methods of disposing nuclear waste (like this for example). But regardless of how eco-friendly nuclear power is, there are people who will rail against it, based mostly on misguided notions.
But then I'm part of the problem, because the solution is obviously to live completely without technology, right?
