[livejournal.com profile] jericho_the_dog is bounding about the house, cuddling anything that shouldn't be wet. I finally bathed him, figuring he could dry while we run errands this afternoon. He should smell much better now.

My Accolate came in my more quickly than expected, which makes me very happy. I'm shocked they didn't have problems filling it--they put the wrong name on the bottle (I kept my maiden name). I hate mandatory mail order. I hope the breathing issues ease up.

LJ has been having loads of database errors for me. I've tried commenting on *so many things*, but finally gave up. Some of the comments go through, some do not. And half the time, I can't reload to see if the comment did or didn't go through. So, I'm not being mean and missing birthday announcments, calls for addresses, or condolences. . . LJ's just sucking.

My husband is feeding Jericho his own eye boogers. That's just gross. Ugh. It's like they enjoy grossing me out.

We made dolmades last night--brown rice and ground chicken. They're not too bad, but the beef broth I used is making me burp constantly. I think I'm gonna let boy eat them all because I really hate chronic belching.

My dog is now sulking because I won't let him go outside to help boy load recycling into the car. Wet dog + dry ground = mud. Wet dog + cold temps = mud. Dog = mud. Sorry, Jericho, you have to stay clean for more than 15 minutes today.

I am continually taken aback by you talking about cooking and eating meat. :)

[livejournal.com profile] epi_lj complained about LJ sucking today, too, but it's been fine for me, so maybe being on pacific time helps.

DJ always has to lick our fingers after we clean her eyes. If we don't let her, she gives us the "you're just going to let me starve!" look. Hers are tidy and easy to clean, Zoe (who has environmental allergies) is a bit more messy, but fortunately it makes both girls very happy when DJ does her twice-daily Zoe-wash, pinning down her head, and bathing her face, snout, eyes, and the inside cones of her ears.

You think you have it bad? I have to cook and eat it. ;)

Corned beef & cabbage in the pressure cooker. Yum, yum, yum.
