Jericho loves his couch. He also likes pillows. The armrests usually suffice, but other pillows are nice, too. When we were camping this summer, he often gave us a look that could only be interpreted as "Where the hell are we and where is my couch?"
Aw he's adorable! Sure he's saying that... He's wondering what wacky plant y'all ate. He's like "why the hell would I want to sleep on the ground when I have a comfy warm cozy couch?"!! My mom's lab/aussie shephard mix is like that. She used to sleep in my room on my bed until I moved in with Justin. She had her own fleece quilt in her favorite color green and she had a queen sized firm pillow in green flannel. *hides eyes* She even had her own chenille teddy bear/baby. No I didn't spoil the damn dog at all did I? Technically she's mine, but she's attached to her two sisters and my parents, so I left her there... she's happier there... plus I can't have a giant doggie in this apartment complex.
Jericho sleeps on a Coleman Bone Lounger (http://images.google.com/images?client=safari&rls=en&q=coleman%20bone%20lounger&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi) when we camp. ;)
Now, he does always shun any mats I put down for him outside the tent, preferring to loll about in the dust, mud, and cactus patches.
*snorts* Well you know we were put on this earth to service their needs. *wink* I see you're a well trained human mommy!! *chuckles* Sadie, one of my parents "girls" aka labs, she doesn't like her paws getting wet. She'll take a step or two and look at my mom like "ugh... water ... paws... mooooooommmmmmy". As soon as she steps into the doorway she lifts paws at my mom to have her clean them off with a warm washcloth. It better not be too hot or cold either! *laughs*
He probably shuns them just in case another doggie might be around... he has to keep his doggie creds you know. *wink*
