just a long busy day.

i'm brewing some coffee. decaf hazelnut. mmmmm.
i don't drink it often, but i do enjoy it (with copious helpings of cream and sugar) from time to time.
today was busy. boy's been antsy, so he went in for an adjustment with his acupuncturist. we arrived in town early, so we stopped at the bakery for bread, integral yoga for henna and hibiscus. boy asked about reiki classes and got on the mailing list... then i took him to his needle-lady. it was a brief visit, so i waited for him. then we set for home (he needed to get to work). i stopped at TSC, though, and bought a weed cutter (straight scythe). woohoo! this should help me with some upper arm/shoulder/back toning.
while boy finished up his workday, i made a yummy lentil stew. we ate it with fresh foccacia and then i taught boy how to wield the scythe. he was amused. i suckled some honeysuckle and then we went into town AGAIN. i wanted to buy some running shoes.
no running shoes, but i got a new tree guide. :) woohoo! i'll get the herb guide next. boy's terrified that i'll feed him lawn clippings still. he should know by now that i will definitely feed him the yard (right now, though, it looks like i should feed him TO the yard).
looked at futons and stuff like that... came home. i remembered that the local shoe outlet carries new balance (pretty much nothing else) and should have something i like at a good price, so we'll stop in tomorrow. we're going over there for the museum, anyhow.
ooooh, coffee
oh! i washed all the dishes today. well, not all, but we were running out of some silverware and bowls and stuff. now we're better off..

Date: 2002-06-02 06:15 pm (UTC)The photo shoot that I'd scheduled for June 22 is now pushed back to July -- that way, I'm not making the drive to Richmond the weekend after we close on the house . . . are you by any chance coming to Freak Day? How is your photosensitivity doing? If you want to come, we'd be happy to bring you/pay for you . . .
**hugs**
Drop me an e-mail to reply, if you think of it, 'cos this is 100 friends entries back and I don't want to forget to check it tomorrow!
Much love,
-- Andi, behind as usual :)
