stupid feet

Massive foot pain. Heels are atrocious. I really hope this isn't the due to my new shoes. They don't have as much cushioning as I'd like, but none of the shoes I tried on did. And I have to use custom orthoses, so inserts aren't an option.

I've been walking a *lot* on asphalt/concrete (at least three miles a day). Maybe that's the problem. I need to get another swimsuit so that I can go back to the pool. Mine may just go completely sheer on me if I wear it again.

Hrm. Trying to decide if I'll do my walk today. I can't walk barefoot more than a few steps, but with shoes I might be able to handle a couple miles. Maybe I'll try the Rivanna trail, instead. I just hate walking in the woods alone, even in the urban ring. Especially in the urban ring.

eilonwy--wanna go hiking this afternoon? Meet you halfway? We could do something easy, watch the storms roll in.

And that would be....bad? I'm not convinced. Perhaps you could post pictures so that we could judge for ourselves how bad it would be. ;)
