rootofnewti'm at lydia's. we got a bit of packing done today. tom and fil entertained the girls... fil held the baby a lot. it was cute. :) i'm not sure he's held a newborn (okay, she's 3mos) that long before. we all had good food for dinner. lydia, the guys, and roan had steak. everybody but tom had corn on the cob (he had some rice). i made chard with almonds and currants that everybody but roan enjoyed. it was yummy. :)
i took fil home at midnight. poor guy was tuckered out. playing with a four-year old and cuddling a 3mo old for nine hours is wearisome work. he might come back to help out this week.
a couple folks who said they'd stop by didn't. a couple who said maybe didn't, either, but i know they haven't been feeling well or had previous potential plans. we still managed okay (though more help is always welcome).
lydia moves on wednesday. boy and i go home tomorrow. i wanted to stay longer, but boy was too worn out friday for me to even suggest he pack up his work computer and bring it along. he could've worked here, in silver spring, while i helped lydia. ah, well.
i can't sleep. eating cinnamon graham crackers with hazelnut choccy spread.
