rootofnewtI'm utterly astounded. It appears I'll have a rather lengthy window of clear, beautiful weather for my flight on Thursday. Granted, things change quickly in the Spring, but chances are darn tootin' good it'll be nice. I'm bummed that I'm not going to be able to see several folks I want to see, but them's the breaks.
I planted out the spiderwort and wood anemone yesterday. The lilies of the valley are coming up, as are some of the ferns I just planted. I still need to find places to plant the virginia sweetspire and cardinal flower. I also need to get a tomato bed and a pineapple sage bed ready soon. Those will have to wait til I return, though, and I hope the plants fare well under boy's watch. (Hint, they need water.)
OH! I just remembered, I have several woodland roots in need of planting. If the cramps ease up enough, I'll go do that this afternoon.
I scored NiB pre-filters for my Honeywell hepa units today via Freecycle. That's a savings of $30 or more. Yay! I should have a lady coming over tomorrow for azalea cuttings.
I used good henna on my hair the other night. I forgot how quickly body art quality henna can stain one's hands. I now have orangish brown fingers and thumbs.
The buzzer is going. My moong dal should be done. I can't decide how I'm going to season them. Ah, well, time enough for that in a while.
