Feb. 24th, 2006 11:20 pm• Adelphia connection has been doing very weird things . . . bad things
• I just did a metric butt-ton of dishes.
• I have another metric butt-ton left to do.
• Saturday night is the last night of this Hedwig run.
• I will be very happy to have my dish-washer back.
I have some stuff I need to do tomorrow. I think I'll drag boy to the recycling center (there won't be room for another person in the car).
We need to buy mulch and a lawnmower. Sears is having a sale on lawnmowers--one of those no-money-down-no-interest-for-a-year things. We like taking advantage of those to pay things piecemeal without accruing fees and stuff. I *think* we need to beg use of a larger vehicle . . . so,
nannar, might we bribe you with coffee or something else? You like Lowe's. I'll even let you smell the lumber.
In other news, we're having a significant portion of the plumbing replaced on Tuesday. This will allow us to (a) use the garbage disposal; (b) give us motivation to save for a dishwasher (or hit up Sears when they're having no-money-down-no-fees-or-interest deals, which they might be right now).
We like taking advantage of credit.
In other other news, Jericho is waxing fjordic over the lack of our beloved bearded lady. Tom has accepted that his name is now "Daddy", as in: *deep voice, donning fishnets* Jerry-boy, Daddy's gotta go to work."
I have a sneaking suspicion I'm going to have to hide my boas from the husband-person.
In another couple of hours, I'll ask Jerry if he wants to go get Tom and he'll grin with that goofy poodle face and run to the front door. Life is good.
