seaweed salad.
Dec. 19th, 2005 12:07 amToday I had a craving for seaweed salad.
It's remarkably easy to make:
soak wakame in water for five minutes, drain. Dress with seasoned rice vinegar, hot pepper toasted sesame oil, and garlic pepper. Enjoy.
I tend to buy the ready-to-eat wakame. The ribs have been cut out and it's already ripped into large flakes. I do occasionally buy wakame or alaria in longer ribs--these are great toasted in a heavy skillet and snacked on as is.
