I hate constant nausea. And my only surefire cure, ginger, makes my reflux worse. I always feel like this when a cold sore is healing. Weird.

Tonight, 8pm, the Anchiskhati Ensemble. After that, probably reading and rest.

Boy cleaned out the gutters today. I sat on the roof and pretended to help. Nausea + vertigo + tinnitus kept me away from the edge. I did plant the rest of the crocus bulbs. We've had a couple frosts, but I took the chance, anyhow. I should've cut down the frost-dead cosmos and trimmed the sage, but the ick kept me from doing too much.

Apple butter in the crockpot. I should buy some freezer containers for it this afternoon.

Jericho needs a bath, but I'm trying to hold out til tomorrow. I want him to stay doggy fresh as long as possible while we're in NJ.

I need to figure out where the aloes and spider plants should winter. They're all in the laundry room, but they can't stay there. I still have loads of laundry to catch up on and the sheets absolutely must be washed today. I could probably pull the couch out six more inches and keep the plants back there. They'd get plenty of light and stay relatively warm. They might be a bitch to water.

I think I'll go make some espresso. And the shower beckons.

It seems like you bathe Jericho a lot...do poodles need more frequent bathing??

yes. They need frequent grooming and it's easier to keep their hair in good condition if they're bathed two to four times a month. They need trimming/haircuts/grooming every 6-8 weeks. They also need frequent ear hair removal, but I let professionals handle that.

if you find yourself out of space, i'd be willing to let the spider plants (assuming they may hand) winter in front of our picture window. i'm hoping next week to get some hooks on the ceiling so that my clover and wandering jew can look out over the backyard. :-)

i feel your nausea. perhaps my tummy is having sympathy pains. am sucking down as much ginger tea as i can tolerate. ech. i hope you feel better soon!
