I made myself a modest to-do list today and accomplished all of it. Then, I made dinner and proceeded to put all my clothing away. For those who don't know me, I tend to wallow in huge piles of velvet, lace, and cotton. I tend to disrobe after boy goes to sleep and I don't want to disturb him, so we end up with piles and piles of my clothing scattered about.

What's not put away is in the laundry.

Speaking of laundry, I decided the bedding had to be done. For some reason, our bedroom gets a stale smell that is nothing so much as ass. I hate the smell of ass (sweat). Bedrooms are not lockerrooms. Plus, today it reeked of ass and dog. So not sexy.

So, I turned on the AC and knocked the enviracaire up to high, which has got the air flowing. It's much improved, but all the bedding must be washed. Tom says he'll help me do the floors and dust later, now that the floor is clean.

I shouldn't have done this much today. I've been skirting a CFIDS crash for two weeks. I woke up without a sore throat or swollen glands today, so I went for it. I'm also very tender in the ribs, indicating that the costo is attempting to flare. I've been swallowing a lot of naproxen to combat that.

But . . . the bedroom is clean! Granted, I need to do some work on the top of my dresser and my bedside table, but that's endurable. I can see the floor again!

Tom gave me a short foot rub earlier so that I could stand up and put stuff away. My feet are killing me, probably because I've been wearing my mary janes instead of my new balance. The New Balance are starting to separate at the soles *and* I got dog diarrhea (not my dog's) on *top* of them, somehow. So they're soaking in nature's miracle so that I don't get so grossed out every time I look at them. Yeah, I cleaned them, but I want the enzymes to eat away the crap.

I really need to unearth my sewing machine. I have a pattern and fabric for a visibility vest for [livejournal.com profile] jericho_the_dog so he doesn't get mistaken for a bear and shot. I want to make kitty cat drugs for LOTS of cats. And I wanted to sew some stuff for myself, too. The sewing machine table is lurking in the scary guest room.

my friend's helped me throughly clean my apartment prior to my party this past weekend & i've made a point to really make the effort & keep it clean. i can really relate the the euphoric feeling of having clean rooms -- nothing's better than coming home to a clean house. :D

i hope the achiness clears up soon. does it have anything to do with the change in the weather?

The costo is inflammation caused by my body's inability to have a normal immune system, preferring to attack everything there is to see or not see. So, the weather is to blame insomuch as it encourages pollination and sporation. Damn plant and fungus sex.

The achiness is part and parcel of my eight-plus years of chronic pain.
