Jul. 26th, 2005 03:21 amI'm too tired to shower, but I'm not allowed to go to bed (or sleep) until I take one.
Silent Muse played an awesome set tonight. No Gods No Monsters rocked, too.
A gorgeous storm rolled through Richmond, but I didn't get any good lightning pictures.
I cannot get distraught about a sub-par chocolate company being bought by a larger company which produces even crappier chocolate. The thought of one more independent firm being assimilated by a huge corporation is a bit unsettling, and it means the soy farmers and soy-scientists will benefit, which does *not* make me happy. I need to go cheer on the soy rust a bit more. RUST AWAY, FIELDS OF EVIL!
In other news, I have excellent, delightful, and un-besmirched chocolate and you don't.
In other, other news, I enjoy having air conditioning, but I really think that it's time for this excessive season we call "summer" to be over. I'm ready for a nice hard frost and perhaps three feet of snow. Surely a volcano can erupt or a meteor can hit. Come on, what's science good for if not an extra ice age?
I'm going to go stumble into the shower.

Hell, I'll cheer the rust too. Yeah, go thou plague of redness and consume the vile tofubean!
well that was fun.

Date: 2005-07-26 12:48 pm (UTC)Me. I'm ready for another ice age. I mean c'mon now. It's toooo damn hot. Even Jay, who normally loves the warm weather and hates the cold is saying he wished it was fall/winter already!! Of course when it's 30 degrees he'll be singing a different tune, but not me!
I can't handle it this heat. My dogs, my poor dogs can't even go outside for more than 10 minutes without whining. The fun part? We get to shear both of them this weekend and guess what? They'll still hate it outside for more than 10 minutes b/c our other dog (Jay's ex-boss's dog ;)) Sandy, who isn't a husky, runs outside, then scratches at the door to come back inside, then runs outside and 5 minutes later is back at the door whining "let me back in, i'm gonna roast".
Me + chocolate = love.
