rootofnewtTonight is the Silent Muse show at Atomic Burrito. I'm actually at Atomic Burrito right now.
Anyhow, free show, but BUY ALCOHOL! It's 21+ only, but if you are 18-20, get in touch with the Atomic Burrito people--they're keeping a tally of would-be attendees. If enough folks show interest, they'll consider lowering the age for future shows.
Anyhow, it's Silent Muse, sometime after 10:45pm. Music by DJ Jinxed. Come out!

Date: 2005-06-03 06:08 pm (UTC)a very, very good friend of mine said his doc thinks he might have fibromyalgia. i figured you'd be an expert on it, and was wondering of any pertinent resources you may be able to give to me to throw his way.

Date: 2005-06-03 06:40 pm (UTC)Since fibro is a diagnosis of exclusion, make sure your friend knows he needs to be tested for pretty much everything under the planet--a lot of things must be ruled out, from thyroid problems, to infectious diseases, to rickettsial infections, to lupus/RA/MS/porphyria/celiac disease, etc. Lots of docs just brush patients off and don't actually rule anything else out.
