Has Old Navy scaled up their sizes? I don't think I've lost so much weight as to wear the size of jeans I just bought.

In other news, I bought two white borage plants, one pineapple sage, one black eyed susan vine, two sweet olive cherry tomatoes, and spiderwort at the farmer's market today. No, the front yard is not an all native garden. ;)

The weather is lovely--the temperature is dropping and storms are promised. We decided to stay home today, as mountains + thunderstorms are generally not the best equations. We're going to straighten up the house. YAY!

Do tell, what is spider wort ?

I work for a social enterprise company that's currently trialing local food sales and delivery, and... I think it's late and I've lost whateer my point was ! Dammit.

It's a native wildflower. It has purple flowers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiderwort) which bleed in the rain.

That's pretty.

Old Navy does size their clothes differently. I have never (ever) been a size four but had to try on a pair of fours the last time I was there. I'm normally an eight and a healthy one at that. It must be a psychological thing. Come to Old Navy and drop two + sizes!

Unrelated (tho' I do think Old Navy sizes lie) I have to drive to C'ville today to pick up wine for my parents. Any interest in me being 'round for anything? Just sitting in a corner sulking? Getting tea? Coffee? Anything? I mean, perhaps you're hiking today. I could just really use some help company. And a better reason to drive to C'ville than wine.

Sure, we'd love a visit. No hiking today--I'm really tired and it's colder than I want to be out in.

I don't really want to go hiking today anyway. I'm all cold and stuff. I just don't think that I should really be alone, either, and I'd like to se you guys.

When would my arrival be the least inconvenient?

That was me. Anyhow, come on over whenever you feel like it. I'll tell boy to put on some clothing and I'll do the same. Where do you need to buy wine? We can go out together and get it.

Tom and I need to clean up the front room. I hope you don't mind watching us do that. ;) I clean better with an audience. It's mostly clutter.

I have to go to the Jefferson Winery to get it. Whee. I figured I'd go there first, and then come over, but I'd love the company. Let me know which you prefer. I'm going to get dressed and eat breakfast now, so it'll be a little bit yet.

Nah, let's all go to the winery. It will be fun!

If you want to play touchtag, boy's AIM is explodingcat (I can provide yahoo and icq, too) and trillian is up.

I'm putting on shoes, finding a coat, and heading in your direction. ('Tis about 1:15.)

Thank you.

Hrm... I haven't bought anything from Old Navy recently, but I used to think that they were a good place for black cotton tank tops and cargo pants, although if they've changed their sizing, I may be SOL.

Is that the consensus now? Go two sizes smaller at Old Navy? This could be useful information...

Old Navy throws me for a loop.

I know I've gained weight, but I shouldn't be too large for my 14's for budda's sake!

I hate women's clothing sizing patterns.

I went to Old Navy last week and bought different skirts/pants ranges in size from a 10 to a 16.. I have no clue how it's possible I can be THAT many sizes.. go figure ;) I think they are all skewed!
