Земфира has grown on me, strangely, with each new album. But, y'know, there's some nostalgic-cum-pathetic feeling I get about a lot of Russian pop. Music I would not touch with a kiloparsec pole if it was in English (or Swedish, or Finnish, or German) is somehow tolerable--and even wonderful sometimes--in Russian (e.g. Линда. Who would have thought?)
