I'm taking down the Yaksmas tree. Once it's all packed away, it can go over to the new house.

It's been unseasonably warm. I wanted to go hiking (we did Humpback Rock on New Year's Day last year), but boy wanted to use any energy we have for moving/packing.

He forgot how well the mountains re-energize us. Oh, well. This stuff needs doing, too.

I wish I hadn't need to sleep. I would have gone hiking. It was a awesome day out. I didn't wake up until around 1pm though after being on duty all night.

Congrats on the new house. Is it the one you were looking at - sort of near me?

yep yep. near you. need to know where you live now. :)

and i couldn't go hiking--had to work on house. wanted to go hiking. wanted to NOT work on house. ;)
