Sesame Ginger Taro Root with Maroon Carrot and Burdock

Roasted Carrots with Cumin

Golden Beets with Parsnips and Roasted Garlic, braised with garlic-infused olive oil.


And for dessert,

Trout Ice Cream with Eyeball


(and for those wondering how boy is still standing upright, he enjoyed Creamy Chicken Korma with Almonds Served Chilled in a Plastic Bag While Wife Drives Through Dangerous Mountain Passes.)

Morimoto? I believe him--or would. I doubt he'd repeat a dish that another Iron Chef already served.

Sakai did trout ice cream in the American Iron Chef battle with Bobby Flay. He didn't add the eyeball, so far as we know.
