If any of you yarn addicts would like to point me toward a self-striping yarn that doesn't contain wool, I'd be quite grateful.

No animal fibers. This is an allergy thing, not a veg thing. After all, I wear leather. ;)

I don't react to silk yarn and it feels lovely, but I've no idea if they make it in self-striping colors.
