Mar. 7th, 2002 04:09 pmit's a cool and nice day outside, so i threw the windows open to create some nice cross-ventilation. then i set to my massive cleaning chore.
after half an hour, i sat down, exhausted. i was so incredibly hot. i was ready to have another illness-hating session. after all--i received plenty of sleep last night, i've eaten well today, i've been *feeling* well enough to *clean* today.
i'm even wearing the pair of shorts i wore when i moved into the academy in 1992.
i decided to exchange my glasses for contacts and as i meandered back toward the bathroom, i glanced at the thermostat.
almost 90F.
*blink*
it was set to 68 or so F, but the heat was *on*. the heat doesn't know how to behave itself when it's, oh, warmer outside than in.
oops.
i feel much better now.
