rootofnewti was supposed to spend the day with a friend, but we haven't managed to connect yet, so i'm going to go out with boy. i just need to get out of the apartment... quite sorely.
i'd be morose about missing dog-time with my friend's dog-companions, but i had spastic shih-tzu time yesterday, so i'm set for a few hours.
boy and i shall go to ikea. just want to wander around until my feet hurt too much to go on. fun, that kind of thing. just not sure if we should hit the ikea down at potomac mills or up at white marsh. with traffic, potomac mills takes just as long to reach as white marsh, although it's about 20 miles closer.
i have many boxes. managed to get a half-dozen from boy's office, bought a dozen at staples, borrowed a half-dozen from friends. this should cover the books, at the least. perhaps some of the knick-knacks, too.
i should stay home and pack/clean, but i desperately need to get OUT.
and i was set to leave when boy said "oh. if i'm going out, i have to eat first."
couldn't he have eaten while i was waiting for a call? silly monkey.
