My husband has issues with my gardening wardrobe.

Hey, tulle is quite effective at keeping mosquitoes away from my head. Unfortunately, my legs were not well guarded.

If anyone wants some white radishes, this is the last week. I'm letting a few go to seed, but most are coming out so I can plant okra. They don't last long after picked and I can't eat a lot because they trigger my reflux. I'll have some young daikon (and older daikon) for a couple weeks yet.

Humph. Looks perfectly appropriate to me. Mourning garb for doomed radishes...

What's wrong with your gardening outfit? too pretty?

Unless you're resting on your knees (which I don't imagine fibro would allow), your clothes shouldn't get too dirty... and even if they did, so?

:oP

Mmmmm... white radishes.

I think the wardrobe works, but you're right - perhaps some assemblage of tulle for the legs would help.

I rather like it, myself...keep pesky insects away from yer head. I agree with someone else about a similar arrangement for your legs, if at all possible. :)

hmmm...i love your stripeys...they is the hype of the garden-fashion world.

i wonder if one could make some form of "leg-warmer" type concoction with tulle? there ya go...something to do on those hot summer days when the outside just is too swooney-hot. "tooling with tulle"

i've debated making balloon-esque tulle bloomers, but honestly... it's not hard to put on a pair of baggy pants and boots. ;)

I would like to make an enormous bubble out of tulle. It would be like being inside a tumbleweed.

My issue with your gardening wardrobe is that your wrist splints don't match everything else. Get a Sharpie and color them in!
