as miserable as i was all day today (sunday, even though it's now monday).... it's still better than being sliced open and having my diaphragm separated from my sternum, having a window cut in my pericardium, having lots of fluid drained, and waking up with tubes coming out of me, collecting a fruit punch doppelganger from my chest cavity.

Maybe we should make you surgery-anniversary cards. Or a cake for the occasion.

The face is silvery purple. It fades a bit from time to time, but it will be with me for awhile.

I think I'll make cake. For Imbolc and my face.
