I don't understand how people can take flax oil. The taste always makes me gag. The texture is icky. It's just... gross. And then I get gross flax burps for the next few hours. I can't get rid of the aftertaste--ever. I've had swiss cheese, quorn parmesan, chocolate cookies, soda, tea, etc. It's been a couple hours and the horrid taste of doom will not go away. It's always like this. It's not quite as bad this time, because at least the aftertaste is cinnamon-flax instead of oil.

Boy says my body is just crazy.

I bought some cinnamon-flavored (oil of cinnamon, not artificially-flavored) flaxseed oil today because, dammit, I need to get those Omega-3 fatty acids. And, well, I had a coupon. ;)

We're going to each have a tablespoon a day. I will complain about it, boy will tell me I'm nuts. :)

Mmmmm, flaxseed oil shooters. Oh, joy.

I should be getting dressed and putting on makeup, but boy is rubbing my back. How can I move?

I thought the seeds might be tougher than your wrists, but it was worth a shot. Maybe you should look into getting a mini food processor, not just for grinding seeds but for other useful things too. BB&B has them for $39.99, and figure out however much it would be if you used one of their 20% coupons. Cuisinart has mini food processors for that price that come in a chrome finish!

i have a mini food processor. i don't think it could handle grinding something as small as seeds. and if it *could*, it would probably generate too much heat and render the omega-3s useless.
