Boy is giggling like a little boy.

Mythbusters is on the Discovery Channel. Current myth they're busting involves peeing on the third rail.

He's giggling at the blueprints (animated). He's giggling at the man running around in a body bag. He's giggling at the building of the pee machine (skeleton, electro-gel, gelatin, etc).

It's like little boy heaven in here.

Here on the Left Coast, the show starts in ~25 minutes.

I think urine is a good enough conductor that 2000+ volts could easily travel 3 feet or so.

I'll check back in 1.5 hours or so. :)

BTW, they did confirm that eating poppy seed seed bagels will cause false positives during urine drug tests. :)

oohh it's on discovery channel - usually same day as mythbusters. it's a really neat show. about people who survive weird things or who can do weird things. they do experiments kind of like the mythbusters guys to see how they survived or how they do it. :) you'd like it.

i have never fully thought about this question. in fact, i have never even considered it!

let's see. the dorky one is cool because he's funny. however, he really does some stupid stuff - did you see when he asked the older one to shoot him in the ass with the penny gun? hmm. and he poured the ballistics gel into the taped up legs for the peeing on the third rail episode - instead of gluing the damn legs. so, i'd have to say the older guy. he's quiet, intense, funny when he chooses to be, and i loved the look on his face when he got to remote control drive the jet car.

so yeah. the older one. besides, he's cuter.

it was busted. due to the fact that urine doesn't connect in a stream but in fact in droplets, it can't carry the current. urine can carry current but you'd have to pee about 4 inches from the rail for the stream to stay intact & then it would definitely kill you.

so, don't squat on the third rail. ;)

I haven't seen the peeing episode yet. I'm sure it's one of these episodes in my TiVo backlog, though. Is the jet car in that episode??
