if anyone within driving distance wants an old Mac Performa 6360 that might work if it has a mind to, let me know. It should still have the keyboard and mouse with it. The monitor is dying. We might have the original software and a few games. I think this came with OS7 or something along those lines. It *did not like* os8, os9 is slow on it. I'm not sure if boy eventually put 7 back on it or not.

Otherwise, I'm offering it to [livejournal.com profile] mrjustice for disassemblage (industrial might points for parts/decor), if he would like it. If anyone wants the monitor for the same reasons, speak up. It really is dying and has no use other than destruction. ;)

I can't bring myself to chuck stuff in the trash if someone might get some use out of it. Pathetic, I know.

And where does one discard of old cell phone batteries? They can't go into landfills, so where do I take them?

I'm willing to give it a college try to repair. If i'm unable, i can hand it off to mrjustice for you.

Turn old cell batteries in along with other hazardous materials like old paint and dead car batteries. May need to contact your municipal waste organization, as often there are semi-annual weekends for turning in such things.

I think the Batteries Etc place might take the old batteries, too. ;)
