1) Name something in your vehicle/preferred transportation method or home that's unexpected enough to raise comment. Ideally, it should already have done so.
Well, the fly is certainly different. I think it scares most people into not asking about it. I inherited it from
baobh's car, with
lupa's permission. The bobbly-headed cow often raises comment, but I'm not sure why.
Now, several friends are astonished that I keep a funnel, socket wrench set, extra coolant, water, and other supplies in my car. I don't consider this unexpected on my part. I consider my friends woefully unprepared. BAD GIRL SCOUTS!
The framed portrait of Ed McMahon in Tom's office seems to disturb people for some reason.
2) Name something about you that most people don't know and would be surprised to know about you.
I will happily turn down a night of drinking and carousing in order to stay home and read children's literature.
3) Name something you own that most people you know would not expect you to own.
white socks
jeans
a huge bright green sweater. (it belonged to my granddad and my dad thought i'd like to have it. i love it, but don't often wear it outside the house.)
the flowered pastel broomstick sleeveless dress i use as a house dress during the summer. one or two people have seen it. they're all dead now. (j/k)
