yes, so...

I'm awake. I should be clean, dressed, and picking up [livejournal.com profile] blackradish, but I'm still dealing with the 5HTP hangover. grrrr.

I'll get up and out very very soon. need to make sure i'm back around 3:30 in case [livejournal.com profile] jb98 stops by to drop off the sleds. [livejournal.com profile] xiane, i'm going to need tips about good sledding spots this winter. ;)

When I was in Russia, the woman with whom I boarded made bread twice a week. One loaf stayed home, two or three went to the church. Twice a week she did this, without fail. On the bread days, the bread generally wasn't ready by suppertime, so she made a skillet bread on top of the stove. I didn't get the recipe. I wish I had. I LOVED that bread.

I was wondering if you found 5HTP to be helpful. And I think homemade bread is a beautiful thing.

i've been taking 50mg/night for sleep. i've only been on it for four days, so i'm not going to make any judgment calls just yet. what i do know: i'm waking up sore sore sore and horribly nauseated. The nausea persists all day long--it's just like when I was on the pill.

I do *not* do well with drugs which screw with serotonin levels, so I'm being quite cautious.
