the_dawning. Tons of folks dressed up, lots danced, and most ate too much candy. I'll probably switch between LJ username, online nicknames, and real names here... and my tenses? HAH. all over the place. What can I say? I'm all brainfogged and crazy.
Pictures depict actual events... the text? Well, I'm afraid that's mostly my fault...
Anyhow, when I walked in, I caught Stu in a delicate moment... naturally, I whipped out the camera.

Our belovedoriginalcynic came as a dead raver. That picture doesn't quite show just how baggy her pants were--be scared. sweetbabboo smiled serenely, not minding the presence of a shade just behind her. Meanwhile, our bartender, krues8dr, showed off his howler monkey pirate costume. The Shade of the Unknown Dj lurked in the corner. We even had a guy dressed as a girl with a turkey on her head.
eilonwy attempted to extend her hair by incorporating it into her tulle skirt. Arthur Dent tries to get the bartender's attention, which he does quite successfully.
Accepting her fate, Persephone wandered about and offered tempting pomegranate seeds to folks in an attempt to boost the population in hell for the coming winter months. After all--why not have a harem?
Eliza refuses to look at Bruce while he's reattaching his head. Across the room,originalcynic conspires to add glowsticks to eilonwy's hair.
Death wandered in without her tap shoes while Steve and a dark angel chatted over Nathan's friend. (Lucy Fair, I feel horrid for never remembering his name...)mbickers came as Cory and Cory came as M.
I used super secret camera techniques to capture a picture of aseeliespright... (and later, it proved easier...)
DJ Jinxed dressed as a dead goth, I think. DJ Justice was a shark-bitten surfer. And I managed to get a picture of Sonja while she was DJ Radioactive and I got another when she was with that weird guy in black. I'm pretty sure she's sober there, but who knows... ;)
Rasputin likes demon frat boys. Meanwhile, the real Rasputin sneaks up behindxymoxed and me. On the other side of the room, originalcynic is overcome by Cory-M's hair

Eventually, folks piled onto the stage for the costume contest. This is where we learned just who was behind the death's mask. Of course, some folks were quite excited over the contest and could only stand back and think "Gosh, I hope I win!" The patchwork cat shook her head.mrjustice took advantage of the view to point out all the freaks. The whaler offered to harpoon them all, but the dark fairy poked him in the eye with her retractable wings (very cool, those), saving us all! The winner, of course, was the transvestite Nixon dressed as a bondage nun.
Despite appearances, Eliza was not Dan's escort.

Cristina showed up after the In Tenebris show and displayed her ability to blow orbs from her nose.nothingoth and eilonwy appeared dutifully impressed.
