i'm so glad an allergist once saw me rubbing carmex onto a huge herpes blister and said "those ointments don't do crap. here." and he handed me 'script for valtrex (valacyclovir). wow. i could clear up blisters before they got started!
i should probably ask my GP for another 'script.
i should probably also ask her if one of my current problems MIGHT be a systemic herpes infection. if i forget my l-lysine for one night, i start getting little hints of infection popping up. it used to be i could take it only when i thought i was getting an outbreak... and then it became twice/week. and now nightly...
