xiane had to work extra hard to keep the crowd safe and under control. She still found time to work the cute.
DJs Vile and Justice (the drunken Randy pics are below) played lots of good music, though it amuses meorientallilly took the name Vile.
M was her usual cute, begging for candy self. She was also wielding her new octopussy, made by our very ownoriginalcynic, who gave me an adorable wee beanie jellyfish. xymoxed's boy came up with the name that stuck--Jackson Polyp.
mrjustice was drunk. I had to sneak up on him to get pictures of his new scalp tattoo. Other people got him to hold still by asking to see his new toxic waste tattoo. orientallilly helped me hold him still long enough to see the blacklight-reactive ink in his scalp.
Lots of people were coping with the crowd by resorting to silliness, includingnothingoth.
I tried to take pictures of the band. It was just too damn crowded in front and too damn stacked-with-boxes in the back. I did have some fun when the strobe light came on: Micah plays with his toy. Gopal and Andy. It's a lot easier to take pics from the side bar. I gave up, though, and headed back to the door, where I ended up watching the cash box while Chris rescued falling folks in the mosh pit,briskpepper watched the door, and salaciousdrift moped at the merch table. I was kept company by kristy and her boy and by Pam from Lynchburg.
I saw a bit ofdizzyblind, but she left early.
After the show, Andy andxymoxed mugged for the camera. (Chris, that last picture NEEDS to be on the dawning site somewhere.) Andy and Micah posed with wee Kevin for this sexy, sexy shot.
Meanwhile, LOTS of people danced. Lots more fled the close confines for the more breathable air upstairs.
nothingoth eventually collapsed onto a couch, where he remaineddead until the lights came on. Before that, though, the couch began to gather bodies (Jean (first pic), Cory, mbickers, eilonwy, hidden solieri).

After the night was over, a bundle of us headed to IHOP: Cory,solieri, Cincinnati, eilonwy, mbickers, nothingoth, cassandralone.

Eventually, we moved out to the parking lot, where we chatted for another hour while some of us undressed and we all made patrick propose to us.
